The backside of a fence is a fence.

I trained in industrial design and have spent most of my time since in shops rather than in front of renders. The work below is ordered the way it was made, failures included, because the failures are usually the part worth showing.

Most projects begin with a material I do not fully understand and end with one I do. Mock-ups get sat on, ridden, left outside. Drawings come later, and only to record what already worked.

I work from Calgary, mostly alone, occasionally with fabricators who are better at their part than I will ever be. If something here overlaps with what you are making, write.
